“Points taken. If protocol was, indeed, not followed, let’s allow a full and impartial investigation to determine what policies had been violated.
However, Breonna Taylor was not merely an innocent bystander in the truest sense. She was part and parcel to the criminal activity and the the resulting investigation which lead to the search warrant being issued.”
So I responded to my Relative’s response to my response with the following response -
Relative,
You first speak of a full and impartial investigation to determine what policies the police violated. You then speak of Breonna Taylor as ‘not merely an innocent by stander in the truest sense… part and parcel to the criminal activity…which lead to the search warrant being issued.”
So the officers are provided the opportunity for a full and impartial investigation, but Breonna Taylor does not receive the same due process? A fair and impartial investigation? “Innocent until proven guilty?” A fair trial by a jury of her peers?
Allegations and evidence do not permit a circumventing of due process to automated assumption of guilt, or deem a person any less deserving of due process and…
